JUDITH KATZ
About me
I set up my private practice after more than 20 years working in the education sector, including whole-class teaching from KS2 to adults; policy development; pastoral mentoring; one-to-one support in SEND departments and private practice; running life-skills and philosophy therapy groups; and delivering research-based interventions.
I feel strongly that the strengths and needs of neurodivergent people are still poorly understood in education and the workplace, and I strive to address this in my work with individuals and organisations. In addition to my work with a diverse range of clients, my lived experience of neurodivergence gives me invaluable insight and makes me particularly well placed to anticipate and empathise with the issues faced by those who are struggling to manage life's demands. Above all, I want my clients to feel empowered and good about themselves - particularly as they often come to me feeling shame, frustration and a sense of failure.

Professional competence is important to me. I ensure that the strategies I use are supported by robust, peer-reviewed research evidence, attend regular CPD and engage with professional supervision.
I have up-to-date safeguarding training and a current enhanced DBS certificate.
